Let's be honest, the place looks like a bit of a dump from the outside and that's precisely why I'd never bothered to try it despite the fact that I drive past it multiple times a day - and have done so as long as it's been there.

If it weren't for a gift card I won at a Christmas party, I still wouldn't know anything about this place but now that I do, I kind of like it.

I've only ordered one thing, the #4 Kalua Pig, and it's always been good. Pork, rice, and macaroni salad, it's a nice change from the typical fast food options in the area.

The regular size is enough for 3 meals and it reheats really well in the microwave. For the price, you can't beat it.

I've always gotten my order to go, but inside, the place seems clean and the help I've encountered always seems nice. I've been there during lunch and dinner times, neither of which ever seem "busy", but it does appear that the place does do a steady business despite what the always-empty parking lot suggests.

A note to management: Fer cyin' out loud, spend a couple hours outside and spiff the place up! Pull some weeds, replace the dead stuff in the planters with some pretty flowers, paint the wall around the vacant patio, and run a flag up the flag pole! Make the place look inviting to the crowds that will soon be showing up at your new next door neighbor's place. Make them curious enough about your place to make them want to come back and try it instead of making negative assumptions based on how unkempt it looks on the outside.

Consider it the Taco Bell of Hawaiian plate lunch. It's a drive thru in the old Burger King location and has received roughly $5.27 worth of upgrades since...but that's no dealbreaker for me.
I've been a few times over the past 5 years or so and it's always about 2 stars' worth of service, value, and food quality.
I got the combo plate of huli huli (teriyaki chicken) and Korean beef. The meat is very cheap, like legit on-par with Taco Bell chicken and beef. There seems to be salt for dayyys w/o substance, just a salty gravy on both meats that no cap reminded me of like a canned beef stew.
Mac salad is OK, it's hard to mess that up.
The lady @ the window was nice but they were clearly short-staffed, esp for 12:00 lunch rush, and it showed. Prob will say "Aloha" to them this time (which also means "Goodbye").

Contrary to most other people, I genuinely enjoy Hawaiian Time. I've been going here since 2012 and their Huli Huli chicken is like nothing else that any Hawaiian restaurant offers. I wish they were closer because I'd go here a lot more often. The service is quick and friendly and the staff is very attentive. Their food I feel is more wholesome than Roxys or 808. You definitely get more for your money here as well.

I love this place!! It's a fast food format, but the food was amazing and the people are friendly and kind. My son and I got the Mauna Loa Chicken and the Kekoa Beef. They were both really unique recipes and preparations. I dont know why this place doesn't have five stars all around.

Oh Hawaiian time we gave you one more try.

Last night we got huli huli chicken. Two large orders for $10.50 each. Leftovers galore. The girl at the drive up was nice. Inside it looked clean enough.

Today we are both miserably sick with tummy issues. I will spare  you all the gory details.

    Nope. No more.

If you want Hawaiian go to Roxy's or 808 or the place in Forest Grove. Skip this.
